SRINAGAR: Acting Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir High Court, Justice Alok Aradhe, administered oath to two newly appointed Judges of J&K High Court here Tuesday. The judges who took oath of office are Justice Sindhu Sharma and Justice Rashid Ali Dar.
The warrants of appointments of the judges issued by the President of India were read out by Registrar General of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, Sanjay Dhar.
Registrar General also read out the Letter of Authorization issued by the Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, authorizing Acting Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, to administer the oath of office to the newly appointed Judges.
Congratulating the newly appointed judges, the Acting Chief Justice wished them a successful tenure ahead. Advisor to Governor B B Vyas, Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, Justice M K Hanjura, Advocate General D C Raina, Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam, Director General of Police SP Vaid, Chairman, Human Rights Commission J&K, Former Judges of High Court, Secretary Law, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Judicial officers, law officer and staff of the high court registry were also present on the occasion.
