Internet service restored in south Kashmir’s Shopian, Anantnag

Srinagar: Mobile internet services were restored today after three days of suspension in twin districts of Anantnag and Shopian in south Kashmir.

2G, 3G and 4G services were restored by all private cellular companies and the state run BSNL in Anantnag and Shopian districts, official sources said.

The mobile interner service was suspended on Friday amid fears of widespread protests against the killing of six people, including five militants by government forces in Shopian.
