Court rejects bail to man accused of forging magistrate seals

Srinagar: A local court here Saturday rejected bail to a man accused of forging seals of two judges.
The court of Special Magistrate Srinagar rejected the bail application of one Nazeer Ahmad Darzi of Kani Kadal Srinagar accused of forging seals and signatures of 3rd Additional Munsif Srinagar and Mobile Magistrate Srinagar
Darzi, who works as a petition writer, was arrested on July 30, and an FIR under sections 420 and 467 was lodged against him at police station Parimpora.
The prosecuting officer Syed Nadeem Hussein argued that the act of the accused undermined the judicial authority.
Eliciting the gravity of offence, pertaining to forgery, recovery of the fake seals of judiciary, and the fake signatures of judicial magistrate used in execution of documents, the court rejected the bail.
