Muslim League held meeting in Bandipora

Bandipora: Muslim league on Thursday convened a meeting of its activists and office bearers in Bandipora district.
A spokesman of League Sajad Ayobi in a statement said that Abdul Ahad Parra, acting chairman, while speaking on the occasion said that the main aim was to make League strong at grassroots level and make further strategy keeping ongoing struggle in view.
He said that Parra discussed the ongoing freedom struggle and present political situation of Kashmir Valley. Parra on the occasion decided to take certain steps to make the League more vibrant and active on ground, he said.
Parra said that the people of Kashmir had rendered countless sacrifices for the Kashmir cause and the liberation movement would be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs.
Parra said that incarcerated district president Bandipora Asadullah Parray, Mehrajiddin Nanna, Molvi Sajad, producing them in court and shifted back to Kotbalwal Jail Jammu is condemnable act. He said that not presenting Hakeem Showkat in court and apart from that political prisoners Masrat Aalam Bhat, Mohammad Qasim Faktoo, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Mohammad Yousuf Mir, Asiya Andrabi, Fahmeeda Sofi, Naheeda Nasreen, Dr Mohd Shafi Seratee, Dr Ghulam Qadir Bhat, and Fayaz Ahamd Talaq languishing in different jails is strongly condemnable and is violation of human rights.
