Malik warns against tinkering with Article-35A

Srinagar: The joint resistance leadership on Friday held a protest demonstration in this capital city against the attempts to revoke Article 35A, which grants special rights and privileges to permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Any tinkering with Artcle-35A will have serious consequences. We will shed our every drop of blood to safeguard it,” JKLF Chief, Mohammad Yasin Malik said, while leading a JRL demonstration in Lal Chowk area of this capital city.
The senior JRL leader threatened to launch a state-wide agitation if  any attempts were made to abrogate the special status of the state. Malik also urged the people to observe a shutdown on August 5 &6.
