SRINAGAR: All Departments Clerical Staff Association of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday thanked Governor N N Vohra, his advisor B B Vyas and former finance minister Syed Altaf Bukhari for the concern towards the clerical staff employees of the state.
President of clerical staff Association Ali Mohammad Mir in a presser expressed gratitude towards the Governor N.N Vohra , advisor B B Vyas and former finance minister Syed Altaf Bukhari for the befitting the clerical cadre with the initiative.
“They have given final nod to the proposal for removal of pay disparity which was pending since 1992. We are welcomed the decision of State Administration Council and whole-heartedly thank Governor N.N. Vohra and his Administration. ”
He also thanked Director General Codes for his help to address the issue to relive the clerical cadre of ‘discrimination’.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Civil Secretariat Employees Union (JKCSEU) President Ghulam Rasool Mir along with others members of the union Thursday met the Advisors to Governor, B B Vyas and Khursheed Ahmad Ganai, Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam, and Principal Secretary Finance Navin K Choudhary and hailed the Government decision of removing pay anomaly of clerical cadre and other categories.
Mir said that this is a landmark decision which will benefit thousands of employees. “We are thankful to the Governor, his advisors and others for recognizing our genuine demand pending for last many years.”
He said that the decision will go a long way in strengthening their resolve to work with fresh commitment and dedication.
