Mentally challenged man injures 4 in north Kashmir’s Pattan

Baramulla, July 30: Four people were injured, one of them seriously after being attacked by a mentally challenged person in Pattan area of this north Kashmir district.

Abdul Majeed Dar, a mentally challenged man attacked a group of villagers with a sharp edged weapon in Chek Jamal Mir village of Pattan here on Sunday evening, witnesses told Kashmir Reader today.

Witnesses identified the injured men as Ali Mohammad Dar, Nazir Ahmad Dar, Abdul Khaliq Dar and Farooq Ahmad. Ahmad was seriously injured in the attack and was shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard.
