SRINAGAR: Hilal Malik’s all-round performance helped Chand Champions to qualify for quarterfinal stage and became the first team to qualify for quarterfinal in the ongoing First T20 Super Cup Palhallan.
Chasing a paltry target of 78 runs Chand Champions overhauled the target inside 13 overs with five wickets in hand. For Chand Champions Sajad Ahmad and Hilal Malik were the highest scoring 21 and 20 runs respectively. For Bradman XI Sajid Ahmad took two wickets.
Earlier batting first after winning the toss Bradman Xi were bundled out on 77 runs. Yousf Gabroo(31) was the highest scorer no other batsman crossed the double figure mark. They even failed to play their full quota of 20 over’s as they were shunted out inside 16th over
Hilal Malik was the destroyer in chief who rattled the top batting order of Bradman XI claiming five wickets up-front; his partner Sajad Ahmad from the other side also bagged three wickets
Hilal Malik was declared man of the match for his all-round performance.
