SRINAGAR: A three days Service Providers’ Training on quality assurance conclude at Regional Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Dhobiwan here on Thursday.
The event was organized by National Health Mission (NHM), J&K in collaboration with National Health System Resource Centre (NHSRC), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
Experts from NHSRC, New Delhi Dr. Parminder Gautam, Senior Consultant, Quality Improvement and Dr Sushant Agrawal, consultant, quality improvement through detailed power point presentations, oriented the participants about various aspects of quality assurance and steps in improving health care and achieving certification under NQAS (National Quality Assurance Standards).
Dr. Yashpal Sharma, MD, NHM, JK, while addressing the participants said that such type of trainings shall enhance the concepts of the service providers in the Hospitals and shall help in achieving the NQAS certification. He requested the Officers of Health Department to follow the Standard Operating Protocols and processes in letter and spirit for maintaining Quality at public health facilities which will in turn help public health facilities to attain certification under Quality Assurance.
Dr. Narinder Bhatial, State Nodal Officer, Quality Assurance, National Health Mission, J&K stressed upon the participants to implement quality assurance checklists, parameters in their respective hospitals.
