JKDFP expresses solidarity with victims over loss of property in gunfight

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) on Thursday expressed solidarity with the victims whose residential houses were damaged during Anantnag gunfight. The party also paid tributes to two slain militants.
According to a statement issued her, a spokesperson said that a JKDFP delegation led by advocate Fayaz Ahmad Sodagar went to Mehman Mohalla to express sympathy with Nazir Ahmad Khan whose house was damaged. “Fayaz Sodagar while praising the pro-freedom sentiment of Mehman Mohalla people, said that incarcerated JKDFP chief Shabir Shah had started anti-liquor campaign from the same Mohalla and the locals had made the campaign a success,” he said.
Sodagar said that “by jailing leaders, damaging properties of people and caging them every now and then cannot deter people of Kashmir from raising their voice in favour of their political rights.”
