CASO launched in north Kashmir area after ‘suspicious activity’

Srinagar: A Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) has been launched in Panar village of Bandipora District on Friday after an army party observed suspicious activity during night in nearby forests, sources said.

An official said the “Ambush party fired 15-20 rounds on suspicious activity near Tanghat area during night hours.”

Following which CASO was launched today at Panar village by the army of 20 Grenadiers, 24 Rajasthan Rifles and SOG of police, an official said.
