RCC Budgam wins Aga Syed Mehdi Memorial T-20 cricket tournament

Budgam: RCC Budgam won the Aga Syed Mehdi Memorial T-20 Cricket Tournamenton Tuesday defeating Kashmir Knights Sozieth by twelve runs in the final match.
RCC Budgam was led by skipper NC chief spokesperson and MLA Budgam Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi. Mehdi ended the match with three wickets at the cost of 11 runs from given four overs and was adjudged man of the match.
Batting first, RCC Budgam scored 142 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Kashmir Knights Sozieth scored 125 runs.
National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah was the chief guest on the occasion and gave away the championship trophy. Cricketing star and team India player Parvez Rasool and IPL player for Kings XI Punjab Manzoor Dar were also present during the award ceremony.
Organized by the Al-Mehdi Foundation, the annual Aga Syed Mehdi Memorial Tournament was played on a knockout basis and 64 teams across the Valley participated in the tournament.
Encouraging the youth to continue to hone their cricketing skills, Omar Abdullah congratulated the organizers for the successful tournament.
