Srinagar to witness first ‘Thought Leaders Conclave’ on education

SRINAGAR: Extramarks Education, an EduTech company would host its first ever ‘Thought Leaders Conclave’ on education in Srinagar on August 28 at Radisson Hotel here.
A company spokesperson in a statement issued here said Extramarks Education, each year hosts Thought Leaders Conclave and invites academia to participate in the event and discuss the role and relevance of Digital Learning in the 21st Century and possibilities of bridging the gap from in-school to after-school for a learner.
“A part of its multicity Summit – Total Learning Summit by Extramarks, the event will focus on how technology can evolve education and empower teachers and students in to becoming New Age Leaders with special focus on possibilities of bridging the gap from in-school to after-school studies for learners,” he said.
During the summit, the spokesperson said, discussions will revolve around empowering young learners with quality learning solutions at home, that are offline and online mode – both. “Thought leaders will also share their views on how adoption of technology can make education more enriching and personalized for the academicians and young learners. School toppers will also be felicitated at the event,” he said.
He said the Director and CEO Extramarks Foundation will unveil the latest endeavor of Extramarks – Redefining Assessments – a scientifically-designed technology platform that facilitates and automates assessment activities in a school. “It can be accessed through browser or devices,” he added.
“A Signature solution by Extramarks – Assessment Centre gives teachers and students the options to use questions from the vast repository of Extramarks, as well as complete freedom to teachers to add their own questions. Teachers also have the flexibility to create assessments based upon multiple parameters and monitor the progress of learners on real time basis,” the spokesperson in the statement said.
The assessment centre, he said, provides instant analysis, publishing and sharing of results and progress with various stakeholders with the help of Extramarks’ School Management System, while providing complete automation and flexibility for teachers to create and publish their own customized assessment papers, as per the curriculum’s assessment guidelines.
“During the summit, Extramarks will also showcase how its three pronged approach of Learn Practice and Test will help students become independent learners and bridge the In- School and After-School gap,” he added.
