JKLF chief Malik bereaved

SRINAGAR: Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik has expressed grief over the demise of his family member Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh who breathed his last on Sunday. The deceased was the father of Meraj-ud-din Sheikh (Dina) of Maisuma Srinagar.
A statement issued here said JKLF chairman also expressed grief over the demise of the mother of a senior “resistance lover” Manzoor Ahmad Khan of Batamaloo who passed away on Sunday.
Recalling the personality of deceased Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh, Malik said, “He was like an affectionate father who endured torture and hardships during resistance (struggle) but never complained of these difficulties. He was a thorough gentleman whose absence will always be felt. We pray for his heavenly abode.”
JKLF leaders and activists visited the bereaved family and expressed condolence with them, the statement said.
Expressing condolence over the demise of Manzoor Ahmad Khan’s mother, Malik prayed for heavenly abode of the deceased.
JKLF leaders Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Ghulam Muhammad Dar and others visited the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them, the statement said.
