Kupwara: The army and special operations group (SOG) of police on Sunday morning launched a massive Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Khamrial forests of Lolab Kupwara after a group of militants fired at an army patrol.
Official sources said that a patrol of army’s 28 RR in Khamrial forests was fired upon by a group of militants, to which the army retaliated with its own fire.
