Mission Indradanush kick-started at Sheeri

Baramulla: The health department on Monday kick-started the Mission Indradanush in Sheeri block of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash accompanied with Dy Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Baramulla kick-started the programme at public health centre Sheeri. Block Medical Officer (BMO) Sheeri Dr Farooq and other doctors and paramedical staff were present on the occasion.
The main aim of the programme was collect the details of those children who missed different vaccinations and drops and provide them all medical aid.
A senior medical officer Dr Azhar Majeed said, “Children from many far flung areas miss vaccinations. Under this mission, health officials will provide drops and vaccines to these children who missed it due to any reason.”
“People must cooperate with the health teams and identify those children who have missed different vaccinations so that officials will provide them it all,” he added.
