PAMPORE: Revenue officials seized a house and shop at Kadlabal Pampore on the direction of a Pulwama court.
The property was subject to a dispute, and the court has ordered its seizure and handover to plaintiffs “Mst Zooni and others”.
The revenue officials told Kashmir Reader that they were executing a court decree passed on October 10 last year in which they were directed to handover the possession of the property to the plaintiffs.
“You are hereby directed to handover the possession of suit house along with land measuring 12 marlas falling under the survey number 589 (old) situated at village Kadlabal Pampore,” reads the order from the office of Tehsildar in which Naib Tehsildar Mohammad Yousuf was given charge to act according to the court decree.
Naib Tehsilsdar Mohammad Yousuf told Kashmir Reader that the family has given time to vacate the house and were adjusted in a part of the building till they arrange accommodation.
The vacated family alleged that they were made victims by the plaintiffs, as they “were not familiar with the legal wrangling”.
