JKDFP expresses condolence with Mukhtar Sofi, party activist

SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has expressed condolence with the senior resistance leader Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi on the demise of his father in Malakhnag Anantnag.
Paying tributes to the deceased soul, a JKDFP spokesperson in a statement hailed his role in the ongoing resistance movement, saying the deceased always loved pro-freedom people and stood like a rock when his son Mukhar Sofi was arrested for his resistance politics.
He prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased soul and patience to the bereaved family.
The spokesperson also condoled senior JKDFP activist Bilal Ahmad Wagay of Malakhnag Anantnag on the demise of his mother. He prayed for her forgiveness and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family especially Bilal Ahmad Wagay.
JKDFP delegations led by advocate Fayaz Ahmad Sodagar and Er Farooq Khan attended Nimaz-e-Jinaza of both the deceased and met the bereaved to condole them, the spokesperson added.
