Srinagar: Muslim League Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday paid tributes to 1931 martyrs, and said that the sacrifices offered them would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be taken into its logical conclusion at all costs.
According to spokesman of League Sajad Ayobi, said that acting chairman Abdul Ahad Parra while addressing gathering of League bearers, said that these sacrifices infused a new life in the resistance movement.
Parra said that “during the last 80 years, Kashmiris had been nurturing freedom struggle in Jammu and Kashmir with their blood. The freedom movement of Kashmir is spread over more than a hundred years and July 13, 1931, was an important milestone of the freedom struggle”.
He said after getting freedom from the autocratic “Dogra oppression”, the Kashmir was “forcibly” taken by India in 1947. “The supreme sacrifices offered by the July 13, 1931, martyrs could never be forgotten by Kashmiris.”
