Srinagar: Taking dig at state government for “miserably failing” to address long pending “genuine” demands of State Doctors, Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) on Wednesday advised doctors to work one hour extra on July 12, 2018 (Thursday) as a mark of protest to press for their demands.
President DAK, Dr Suhail Naik said in a statement “we have utilised all forms of democratic ways of protests to get our demands addressed but it is unfortunate that government is not giving heed to our legitimate demands. Now as a mark of protest we have decided to do one hour extra work on Thursday”.
“We as responsible section of society are well aware of the fact that people of the state direly need our unflinching services as state lacks vibrant private or corporate health sector”, Dr Naik added. “All doctors are advised to continue in their respective areas of duty till 5 PM on Thursday.”
