Srinagar:  Government of India (GoI) has asked action against IAS officer, Shah Faesal for one of his tweets.

Shah has himself shared an order of the general administration department saying Shah has failed to maintain absolute honesty and integrity in discharge of his official duty and thus acted in a manner unbecoming of a public servant.

Shah is currently on study leave, reports said.

As per media reports GoI has asked the Jammu and Kashmir to initiate departmental action against Shah for what it said violating the All India Services (conduct rules) through a tweet.

“Love letter from my boss for my sarcastic tweet against rape-culture in South Asia. The Irony here is that service rules with a colonial spirit are invoked in a democratic India to stifle the freedom of conscience.  I’m sharing this to underscore the need for a rule,” Shah tweeted while sharing the government order.

Following is the order shared by Shah Faesal on twitter.
