BARAMULLA: The J&K Police has filed a chargesheet against the four men, allegedly Lashkar militants, in the murder case of three Baramulla youths killed on April 30.
Three young men Irfan Ahmad Sheikh of Syed Kareem, Baramulla, Mohammad Asgar of Kakar Hamam, Baramulla and Haseeb Nabi Khan of Kakar Hamam, Baramulla were killed during evening hours in Baramulla of April 30.
A police statement said that the chargesheet was filed in the Court of Principal District and Sessions Judge Baramulla against two arrested Lashkar militants and two others at large.
Four alleged accomplices have also been arrested and charge-sheeted in the case.
Police said, the weapons including two AK series rifles and one pistol used in the crime, have also been produced before the court, besides a forensic report matching bullets recovered from scene to weapons.
Police said that a Special Investigation Team investigated and gathered evidence against men involved in the crime. The accused include Aijaz Ahmad Gojri, Bilal Ahmad Najar, Shoaib Ahmad Akhoon and Mehmood Bhai, alleged to be militants from Lashkar-e-Toiba.
Shoaib and Mehmood have not been arrested yet.
