SRINAGAR: Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) headed by Muhammad Yasin Khan has condemned the civilian killings by government forces in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
In a statement, Khan who also heads the Kashmir Traders and Manufactures Federation (KTMF) said no civilised nation can accept the civilian killings.
“Killing unarmed civilians is against the ethics of humanity. Has New Delhi declared a war against such civilians,” Khan asked while strongly protesting the continued crisis in the valley. He also asked the civil society in the subcontinent to play its role.
Khan also condemned the arrest of Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Syeda Aasiya Andrabi and her two associates who have been shifted to Delhi for questioning.
He said the ailing women leader deserves medical attention than detention.
