CRPF soldier injured in grenade attack in Hyderpora

BUDGAM: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper was wounded in a suspected grenade blast in Hyderpora on the outskirts of Budgam district on Saturday.
Reports said that a grenade was lobbed at a CRPF party near the flyover in Hyderpora, leaving a trooper wounded.
Forces cordoned off the area soon after the attack, reports said. However, Senior Superintendent of Police Budgam Tijinder Singh said that it was a mysterious blast.
He added that no grenade pin was recovered at the site of the blast.
