SRINAGAR: After a week long spell of rains in the Valley triggered flood scare, weather is expected to remain dry for next five days.
Director Metrological Department ((MeT) Kashmir, Sonam Lotus, said “The weather in Kashmir will remain dry from July 6 onwards till July 11″.
From July 12 to 14, it will rain again in Kashmir, he said.
The annual Amarnath yatra remained suspended for the third consecutive day due to landslides and shooting stones on Jammu Srinagar highway.
Earlier, three pilgrims were killed and many sustained injuries including locals after a landslide hit a car parking in Baltal route. The yatra on both the routes from Pahlgam and Baltal also remained suspended on the third consecutive day.
