Resentment against Mehbooba ‘abrupt’: Omar

BUDGAM: Former chief minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday expressed surprise at what he called the “abrupt” resentment expressed by some PDP legislators against Mehbooba Mufti.
Omar said that during the Budget session of the state assembly in Jammu, every PDP member except one or two was hailing and praising the role of Mehbooba Mufti, but suddenly they have started opening a “Pandora’s Box” of complaints.
“I didn’t hear any complaint or grievance against Mehbooba Mufti from any PDP member when she was the Chief Minister,” Omar told reporters during his tour to his Beerwah constituency.
When asked about reports of some PDP members mulling to join hands with BJP, Omar said it was the internal matter of the Peoples’ Democratic Party and he wouldn’t comment on that.
