Police seek public help to trace missing Anantnag boy, Srinagar girl

Srinagar: Police seeks help of general public in tracing a boy missing since June 18 from his home in Mattan, Anantnag, and a girl, who is missing from Wednesday from her home in Chanapora area of Srinagar city.

Ghulam Mohammed Bhat reported in Police Station Mattan that his son Rouf Ghulam Bhat went out of his home and did not return back, police said in a statement.

In this regard, a missing report was lodged and investigation to trace the missing boy has been started, police said.

Meanwhile, Police said that Nazeera Akhter, resident of Chanapora areas of Srinagar city, reported that her 18 years old daughter Talya Rasool had gone to school and did not return back.

“The girl is wearing school uniform and black color Abaya,” police statement said.

A missing report has been lodged in Police Post Chanapora and search to trace the missing girl has been started, police said.
