Dozen injured in rabid dog attack in Baramulla village

Baramulla: Around dozen people including women and children were injured in a rabid dog attack in Kitchama village of Baramulla on Tuesday morning.
Locals said that panic gripped in the village after a rabid dog injured one dozen people including some women and children.
The injured were shifted to public health center Sheeri, while some seriously injured people were shifted to district hospital Baramulla for advance treatment.
A doctor at public health center Sheeri Dr Azhar confirmed that one dozen people were shifted to PHC Sheeri who had dog bites.
He said few among them were shifted to district hospital Baramulla for advanced treatment.
Reports said that the dog was also killed by people.
