SIE teams inspect examination centres

Srinagar: For the smooth conduct of term 1st examinations, various teams of State Institute of Education (SIE), Kashmir and concerned DIETs on Monday inspected various examination centres across valley.
The term 1st examination, from class 5 to 8, is being held across Kashmir division including Leh and Kargil.
According to a statement issued here, Incharge examination affairs, Mehboob Hussain on Monday deputed various teams to monitor the conduct of examination, discipline, facilities being provided to students in various examination centres of different districts.
Hussain said that it is very necessary to provide feasible and good atmosphere to the students so that they do not face any difficulty and fear in the forthcoming exams of their career.
“Three teams were deputed for the monitoring of examination to three different district of the valley including, Ganderbal, Pulwama and Budgam. During the inspection, the teams took stock of the facilities being provided to the students and smooth conduct of the examination in these centres,” the statement said.
Barring Srinagar district, the term 1st examination of Math paper of class 5th and Science paper of class 6th and 7th was held on Monday across Kashmir division including Leh and Kargil.
Head, SIE Kashmir said that due to inclement weather conditions, the fresh dates for the papers which were postponed earlier will be notified shortly.
