Rajouri: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University conducts Common Entrance Test for admission to B. Tech in the School of Engineering and Technology. The test was conducted at three centres located at BGSB University Rajouri, Srinagar and Jammu.
According to statement by Varsity, candidates from 22 districts of the state appeared in the test.
The School of Engineering and Technology, BGSB offers B.Tech in civil engineering, electrical and renewable energy engineering, electronics and communication engineering, information technology engineering and computer engineering.
Vice chancellor of the University, Prof Javed Musarrat inspected the examination centre at main campus Rajouri and took stock of arrangements made for the appearing candidates. He was accompanied by Dean Academic Affairs and Registrar of The University Prof Iqbal Parwez, Controller of Examination and other senior officers of the University.
Taking into consideration the flood warnings in the state, Musarrat directed the officials of the university as well as the officials at the offsite offices of the University in Srinagar , Jammu and Kishtwar to remain alert and available to the queries of applicants.
