Class IX term exam postponed after paper theft at Bandipora school

Bandipora: The State Institute of Education has postponed the term exams for Class 9th which were scheduled to begin from June 26, after paper theft at a Bandipora School.
Officials said that question papers for the term examination were stolen last night from Government High School Laharwalpora in Bandipora district.
An FIR has registered and two employees of the school have been suspended in the connection.
Officials said that the examination papers were stolen during the previous night and police is investigation if that there has been some “nexus” of the employees.
Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Khurshid Ahamd Sanai confirmed the incident to Kashmir Reader and said that two employees who had the responsibility to keep the papers safe have been suspended and FIR has been registered against them.
“They have also been asked for the explanation into the incident,” He said while confirming that the 9th class exams were cancelled after the incident.
