Search for female teacher’s body enters third day in Ganderbal

Ganderbal:  The search for the dead body of the drowned female teacher in Nallah Sindh in Gaganigar area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district entered third day Friday, an official said.

25 years old female teacher identified as Kulsuma Rashid daughter of Abdul Rashid Bhat of Badampora Ganderbal who was working in Starland secondary School Badampura fell into the Sindh nallah near Ahsan resort while she was taking pictures during a school picnic on Wednesday.

Officials said that the rescuers are facing difficulties in search operation due to fast flow of water of the Nallah Sindh.

SHO Police Station Gund Syed Arif Bukhari told Kashmir Reader that the divers and rescue party from Kangan and Gund area along with teams of Police, SDRF, Fire and Emergency services and local youth volunteers  tried to recover the body but couldn’t succeed.

Airf said later on Wednesday men and machinery from Z-Morh tunnel project were also put on job.

Besides others, SDM Kangan was also present on spot for rescue purposes.
