Shutdown in south Kashmir’s Shadimarg against police raids, arrests

Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in Shadimarg village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district against the arrest of youths in the village. Three more youth were arrested during night raids at Kasbayar village of Pulwama.

Local sources told Kashmir Reader that all shops, business establishments were closed and public transport was off the roads to protest against the arrests and night police raids.

SSP Pulwama Mohammad Aslam Choudhary confirmed to Kashmir Reader that one person has been arrested by forces at Shadimarg village.

He said that 3 more youths were arrested at Kasbayar village of Pulwama district who are involved in some cases.
