Two injured in army firing in Pulwama village

Pulwama: Army on Friday evening resorted to indiscriminate firing on civilian protesters in Litter village of Pulwama district injuring two, one critically.

The injured duo has been identified as
Rukaya Jan daughter of Ghulam Mohammad Magray and Vikas Ahmad son of Ghulam Mohammed Rather.

Both of them have been referred to Srinagar hospital for treatment.

Local reports said that the army was making rounds in the village for the third time allegedly for vandalising militant homes. They said that as the army made appearance in the village locals made announcements on masjid loudspeakers asking villagers to show resistance.
