Naat competition by specially-abled children held

SRINAGAR: A Naat competition was organised for specially-abled children by North Zone Cultural Centre (NZCC), Patiala in collaboration with Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) at its auditorium near Polo View here. The competition was attended by students of the various institutions and organisations of the valley.
Consultant NZCC, Mushtaaque Ali Ahmad Khan in a statement said that they will continue to hold such event for the specially-abled children in near future.
The winners of the competition include Nissar Ahmad Najjar (1st prize), Roof Siddiq (2nd prize), Hilal Ahmad Bagh (3rd prize) and Zeenat Jan (special prize). The winners were awarded with the cash prize, mementos and certificates. Participants too were felicitated with the cash prize and participation certificates.
The jury members for the naat competition included Ghulam Hassan Gamgeen, Rahil Kashmiri, Molvi Noorani Naqasbandi and Mir Saaqib Mushtaq.
Director Radio Kashmir Srinagar, Humayaun Qasir was the chief guest on the occasion, while Shah Faesal MD J&K PDC and IGP Traffic J&K Basanth Rath were guests of the honour. Student leader Shehla Rashid Shora was also present on the occasion.
