National Front remembers Nayeem Khan’s father

SRINAGAR: A special session of party bearers of Jammu Kashmir National Front was held at party headquarters, here to observe the second death anniversary of late Ghulam Mohammad Khan, father of incarcerated National Front chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan.
A statement issued here said that the session was attended by party representatives of all districts who praised the family of late Ghulam Mohammad Khan for its contribution in the ongoing movement. “Khan family of Khoru Pattan, to which Nayeem Khan belongs, has a long history of being a part and parcel of the resistance movement. The family has produced people like late Ghulam Mohammad Khan who spent his whole life in supporting the resistance leaders. The family later produced resistance leader Nayeem Khan who since his student days adopted the path of resistance and is steadfast,” the participants said.
Paying tributes to late Ghulam Mohammad Khan, the participants termed him as an enthusiastic freedom lover who had a privilege to work with Mohammad Maqbool Bhat.
