Srinagar: Hundrends of people on Friday raised anti-Israel, anti-India and anti USA slogans in Budgam, Srinagar, areas on the eve of Al-Qudus Day.
In Budgam , amid pro- Kashmir and pro-Palestine slogans hundrends of people held a protest march .
Later hundrends of supporters also raised slogans in press enclave here. The march is part of “Al-Qudus Day” being observed in the Muslim world today.
Resistance leaders in Kashmir had asked people to observe the last Friday of Ramzan as “Al-Qudus and Kashmir Day”.
Under the banner of Moawin Committee Tanzeemul Makatib Magam, people of the area gathered at Magam town and press enclave Srinagar and protested against the brutal Israeli occupation of Palestine and recent carnage in Gaza.
Holding banners and placards reading “down with America”, “down with Israel” and “Al-Qudus day” The day was initiated by late Muslim leader, Ayatullah Khumani of Iran, in 1979, which is now observed every year in the Muslim world on the last Friday of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile anti-Israel and anti-US protest were held in Panthachowk after Friday Congregational raised slogans against Israel and US, eyewitnesses told Kashmir Reader.
Hundreds of people from Balhama, Pandrethan, Shalina and other adjacent areas took out a protest rally after Friday prayers to show solidarity with Kashmir and Palastine.
The protest rally was organized by local youths of Balhama Pantha Chowk.
Hundreds of the people of Balhama, Pandrethan, Shalina and other areas assembled in bypass Pantha Chowk and held a strong protest demonstration against anti-Israel and anti-US in solidarity with Palestinians and Kashmir.
They were holding Pro Palestine banners and placards in their hands, depicting different messages- ‘Free Kashmir Free Palestine, United with Gaza, Al Qads Day, Miss U Sameer Tiger, Shia-Sunni Unity Zindabad, Boycott Israel, Hands of Yeman to solidarity with Kashmir and Palestinians.
