‘Breast cancer diagnosed in about 40% women at last stage because of non-awareness’
Baramulla: Media Association Pattan in collaboration with Block Medical Officer Pattan organised cancer awareness and screening camp at Government Girls High School (GHS) Pattan on Thursday.
Large number of doctors participated in the camp and educated people about the cancer.
Doctors said that breast cancer is being diagnosed in about 40% women at the last stage because of non-awareness.
InshaQazi director of SSM Engineering College was chief guest on the occasion, while as Tehsildar Pattan, SHO Pattan, Principal Girls Secondary School, a team of doctors of SDH Pattan and Media Association president PattanRahiNissar and other media persons were present on the occasion.
President Media Association PattanRahiNissar said that it was an inaugural program and such programs will continue for a week at different places in Pattan area. Meanwhile on the occasion director SSM College announced to donate USG machine for Pattan hospital.
