Admission for B.Sc nursing 2018 started
Srinagar: A meeting was held at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSB) under the chairmanship of Prof Javed Musarrat, Vice Chancellor to review the functioning of the three nursing colleges.
BGSB University has established three nursing Colleges at University campus Rajouri, Jammu and Kishtwar in the year 2016.
The principal of the Nursing Colleges, BGSB University Campus Rajouri informed that basic necessary facilities are being provided to the students in accordance with the guidelines of Indian Nursing Council in each of the three colleges of the University.
Registrar Prof Iqbal Parvez said that all the three nursing colleges are being provided with best teaching faculties and state of art laboratories. He informed that all the necessary efforts are being made towards developing the nursing colleges of BGSB University as the Model Nursing colleges for the state and country.
He said that apart from the teaching and lab facilities, residential facility is being provided to the outstation nursing students in each of three colleges.
Prof. Musarrt stressed upon the need of quality education and research for releasing the dream of opening up of three nursing colleges in the state.
He said that B.Sc nursing is the flagship program of the University and sustained efforts should be made towards increased employability of the students. Prof. Musarrat lauded the efforts of the teachers and Management of the nursing colleges for their hard work and said that the University will made all the necessary efforts for the growth and development of Nursing Colleges as the centres of excellence in health care education and research.
On the occasion the university launched the admissions for 4 year B.Sc nursing program for the year 2018.
