Ganderbal teacher suspended after Student’s protest

Ganderbal: The department of school education Friday suspended a school teacher in Ganderbal after students along their parents protested against him for beating a class 5th girl student.
Ajaz Ahmad war a teacher at the Middle School Dardwooder Mamar in Ganderbal district had allegedly beaten a 5th class girl student and injured her arm.
As the incident caused resentment among students and parents, the teacher was placed under suspension by the Education Department authorities.
Earlier protesting students and parents blocked Srinagar-Leh highway demanding action against the teacher.
The Chief Educational Officer Ganderbal Sheikh Gayas ul din told Kashmir Reader that the accused teacher has already been suspended by Concerned ZEO soon after the incident.
