SRINAGAR: Chairman Muslim League Mushtaq-ul-Islam on Wednesday expressed his concern over the fresh crackdown on youth and nocturnal raids by SOG and government forces in Kashmir.
“Youth in valley especially in Shopian, Pulwama and other parts of south Kashmir are arrested during night raids and subjected to third degree torture in police stations”, Mushtaq-ul-Islam said in a statement.
Referring to Hizb commander Zeenat-ul-Islam’s family, Mushtaq-ul-Islam said, “It is highly deplorable to target families of Mujahideen. We in strong words condemn the way the forces behaved with his family, vandalised their belonging and looted their valuables.”
