Protest in south Kashmir against bid to set militant’s house ablaze

Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in Kakapora and Samboora areas of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district against unknown persons who tried to set ablaze house of Jash-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant Adil’s home, reports said. Locals alleged Army soldiers to be involved in the incident.
Earlier, according to local sources people doused flames of Adil’s residential house after it was set on fire.
The incident took place during night.
Adil Ahmad @ Waqas is a resident of Gandibagh area of Kakapora and is reportedly affiliated with JeM militant outfit.
Late last night unknown persons sprinkled kerosene oil at his residence and tried to set it ablaze, reports said adding doors and windows of the house sustained damage before the flames were doused off.
Locals alleged that army soldiers came to Gandibagh during the day on Wednesday and clicked pictures and made a video of the house.
“During night they came again and tried to set it ablaze,” local alleged.
