Funeral prayers held for JKLF leader

SRINAGAR: Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik has paid tributes to deceased party leader Ghulam Muhammad Butt who breathed his last in Rawalpindi Pakistan on Tuesday.
The funeral prayers in absentia were held for the deceased leader in Srinagar which was attended by JKLF leaders and people in large numbers.
A JKLF statement issued here said the deceased was originally from Rajouri Kadal Srinagar and had migrated to PaK in 1950. He was closely associated Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Aman Ullah Khan and was one of the key figures who played his active role in the formation of JKLF.
“Today, JKLF family has lost one of its prolific members and affectionate elder and we pray to Allah Almighty for his heavenly abode,” JKLF chairman said.
