Srinagar youth dies in Saudi Arabia road mishap

SRINAGAR: A 24-year-old youth from Khanmoh area of Srinagar died in a road accident in Madina city of Sudia Arabia.
The victim identified as Tanveer Ahmad Khan son of Bashir Ahmad, resident of Khanmoh area of Srinagar who was working in a hotel in Madina Shareef. He had been there from last 5 months when he died after hit by a speedy vehicle in Madina.
One of the relative of the deceased said that Tanveer had died on spot after hit by a speedy vehicle in Madina. He said Tanveer was returning from masjid after offering Tarawee prayers on late Friday evening.
According to relative, the deceased was laid rest at Madina Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
Meanwhile, in another road accident, an elderly man died on spot after being hit by a Taveera vehicle on the Srinagar-Jammu highway near Awantipora on Sunday afternoon, a police official said.
He said a 70-year-old Asadulah Kuchay son of Abdul Rahim resident of Hajibal Lethpora was hit by a Taveera vehicle bearing registration number JK05C-3051 at Lethpora, resulting in his on spot death.
The body of the deceased was handed over to his family members.
Police has registered a case FIR No 82 U/S 304A in this regard and investigations taken up.
