Slain civilian laid to rest in Pulwama village

Srinagar: Thousands of people from several villages of Pulwama Monday attended the funeral prayers of slain Sumo driver Bilal Ahmad Ganai, at his native village Norwa Lajoora.
Bilal was killed in cross firing between militants and army personnel at Dugam Kakapora one kilometer from a local army camp.
Eyewitnesses told Kashmir Reader that amid Pro-freedom slogans, Bilal was laid to rest while thousands of people including women and children participated in his funeral procession.
