SRINAGAR: Dineshwar Sharma, Union Government’s Special Representative for Dialogue in J&K, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.
Governor and Sharma held extensive discussions regarding the crucial importance of maintaining peace and normalcy in the State; the announcement of unilateral Cease Fire on the eve of Ramadan; the recurring cease fire violations from across the IB and LoC and other important issues. Dineshwar Sharma also called on the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here this evening.
During the meeting, overall situation in the State, particularly after the announcement of the Ramadhan Ceasefire by the Centre, came up for discussion.
Sharma apprised the Chief Minister about his recent interactions with a cross section of society in different areas and the situation along the borders in the State.
