Congress criticises Pak for ceasefire violation

SRINAGAR: J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has criticised Pakistan for resorting to heavy shelling from across the border at various places in Jammu for the past few days which has resulted in loss of human lives and injuries to number of persons.
In a statement, JKPCC chief G.A. Mir accused Pakistan of “committing worst kind of violation of all international norms”.
He expressed grave concern over the continued ceasefire violation by Pakistan and escalated tension between neighbouring countries.
Mir expressed sympathy with the slain and those injured, and prayed for peace to the departed souls and early recovery of the injured.
He asked the state government and administrative machinery to provide all sorts of necessary help for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of affected families.
