SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir National Front has remembered ‘Shaheed-e-Millat’ Mirwaiz Moulana Mohammad Farooq and ‘Shaheed-e-Hurriyat’ Khwaja Abdul Gani Lone on their anniversaries. The party also paid tributes to Hawal martyrs.
National Front spokesperson in a statement said that party’s incarcerated chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan used to call ‘Shaheed-e-Millat’ and ‘Shaheed-e-Hurriyat’ as statesmen and people sympathisers.
“Today when we are remembering Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulana Mohammad Farooq and Shaheed-e-Hurriyat Khwaja Abdul Gani Lone and martyrs of Hawal, National Front chairman Nayeem Khan and other hundreds of Kashmiri prisoners are in different jails for protecting the mission of martyrs. The best way of paying tributes to all martyrs is to pledge that mission of the great souls will be taken to logical conclusion,” the spokesperson said.
He said Kashmiri people are hopeful that the day is not far when international community will hear to their voice and compel New Delhi to accept the political rights of the people of Jammu Kashmir.
“Kashmiri people are rendering tremendous sacrifices to break the chains of Indian slavery and it is high time for the world bodies like UN, UNSC, EU and OIC to come forward and resolve the Kashmir imbroglio once for all,” he said.
