Muslim League stresses for unity among Muslims

SRINAGAR: In his message on the arrival of the fasting month of Ramadhan, Muslim League chairman Mushtaq-ul-Islam on Friday appealed Muslims to seek blessings, forgiveness, and peace from Almighty and forge unity among their folds.
In a statement, Mushtaq-ul-Islam said, “Muslims all over the world are facing appalling situations. Ramadhan is the ideal time to seek forgiveness and mercy of Almighty Allah.”
Referring to horrendous situations in Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Syria and Iraq, Muslim League chairman stressed on praying for the end of oppression and to offer special prayers seeking further elevation in the status for the people who had laid down their lives to make end to forced occupation in Muslim world.
Terming Ramadhan as a month of charity and compassion, Mushtaq-ul-Islam appealed the well to do sections of the society to donate generously for the needy and underprivileged.
