Mobile internet services restored in Shopian after 16 days

Srinagar: Mobile Internet services were restored in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday after sixteen days.
The mobile internet services were snapped on April 30 after a gunfight broke out in Drabgam village of Pulwama.
Later on it was restored on May 3 for six hours and was snapped again when another gunfight took place at Turkwangam village in which a class 9th student was killed.
The Mobile internet suspension was extended on May 6 after five militants and six civilians were killed in Badigam village.
